Professional UK Supply

Dispatch and Delivery

Suture Supply Co supplies surgical sutures, wound closure products and medical training equipment to professional and commercial customers. The following policy explains how orders are processed and delivered.

Section 01

Order Processing and Dispatch

Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

Product type Typical dispatch estimate Additional information
Stocked products 1–3 working days Subject to availability and account status.
Specialist products 3–7 working days May require additional processing or supplier dispatch.
Backordered products Advised separately We will provide an estimate when available.
Bulk or contract orders Agreed individually Delivery schedules may be confirmed separately.

Dispatch estimates indicate when an order is expected to leave our warehouse or supplier. They are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Section 02

Delivery Charges

Available delivery services and charges are shown during checkout or confirmed separately for account, quotation and contract orders.

Charges may vary according to parcel weight, size, destination, delivery service and specialist handling requirements.

Additional charges may apply to remote locations, offshore destinations, pallet deliveries or other non-standard delivery requirements.

Section 03

Business Delivery Addresses

Suture Supply Co is a B2B supplier. Orders should be delivered to a valid business, professional, healthcare, veterinary, dental, educational or commercial address unless otherwise agreed.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all delivery details are complete and accurate before placing an order.

  • Address changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has started.
  • We may request additional information to verify an address.
  • We may decline delivery to an address that cannot be verified.
  • Redelivery costs caused by incorrect information may be charged to the customer.
Section 04

Split and Supplier-Direct Deliveries

Some specialist products may be dispatched directly by a supplier, manufacturer or fulfilment partner. These products may arrive separately from other items in the same order.

We may divide an order into more than one shipment where this enables available items to reach the customer sooner.

Separate consignments may have different tracking references and delivery dates.

Section 05

Tracking and Receipt

Tracking information will be provided where it is available from the carrier. Some services and supplier-direct consignments may not offer live tracking.

Deliveries may require a signature or other confirmation of receipt. Customers should inspect the number and apparent condition of parcels upon delivery wherever reasonably possible.

Section 06

Delivery Delays

Dispatch and delivery times are estimates unless a delivery date has been expressly confirmed by us in writing.

Delays may occur because of:

  • Carrier network disruption
  • Severe weather or transport disruption
  • Bank holidays and seasonal demand
  • Manufacturer or supplier delays
  • Product availability
  • Customer or address verification
  • Events outside our reasonable control

If an order has not arrived within the expected period, please contact us with your order number.

Section 07

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Damaged parcels, missing items, incorrect products and other delivery discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order or purchase order number
  • The affected product code and quantity
  • A description of the problem
  • Photographs of the goods and packaging where relevant
  • Any damage notice supplied by the carrier

Retain the outer packaging, labels and affected goods until we confirm that they may be disposed of.

Do not return products without first receiving authorisation and return instructions from Suture Supply Co.

Section 08

International Delivery

International delivery is available only where offered during checkout or separately agreed by Suture Supply Co.

International customers are responsible for confirming that the products may legally be imported and used in their destination country.

Import duties, local taxes, customs fees and clearance charges are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

Section 09

Restricted Professional Products

Certain medical products may only be supplied to appropriately qualified professionals, regulated organisations or verified commercial customers.

Before dispatch, we may:

  • Verify the customer or organisation
  • Request professional credentials or supporting information
  • Place an order on hold while checks are completed
  • Decline or cancel an order where requirements are not met
Section 10

Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods supplied by Suture Supply Co remains with Astflick Group Ltd until all sums due in respect of those goods have been received in full.

This provision should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
