Ethicon COATED VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and smooth tissue glide during soft tissue approximation and ligation procedures.

This USP 1 violet suture is supplied in a 90 cm (36 inch) length and is armed with a single-armed CT-2 taper point needle measuring 40 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed to provide controlled, atraumatic penetration for deep soft tissue approximation and general surgical closure.
