Ethicon COATED VICRYL Polyglactin 910 Braided Absorbable Surgical Suture

Ethicon Coated VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and tissue glide. Absorption occurs by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing.

This USP 3-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 19 mm conventional cutting PC needle with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed to provide controlled penetration and clean incision of skin and firmer soft tissues.

Coated VICRYL sutures deliver dependable performance, excellent pliability and secure knot formation, making them suitable for routine skin and soft tissue approximation. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for high-volume hospital and clinical use.
