This ETHILON™ Black Monofilament Non-Absorbable Microsurgical Suture, product code U7003, is designed for ultra-fine tissue approximation where exceptional precision and minimal tissue trauma are critical. Manufactured from non-absorbable nylon monofilament, ETHILON provides extremely smooth tissue passage, very low tissue reactivity and reliable long-term tensile strength.
The USP 10-0 size is intended for ophthalmic, vascular and other microsurgical procedures requiring highly delicate wound closure. The 12 inch (30 cm) strand length allows precise control within confined surgical fields.
U7003 is supplied double-armed (D/A) with two CS140-6 taper point needles, each measuring approximately 6.5 mm with a 3/8 circle curvature. The taper point configuration enables atraumatic penetration of delicate tissue and supports balanced, symmetrical microsurgical closure.
