Ethicon MONOCRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25 and coated with triclosan to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture line.

This USP 4-0 suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and features an undyed monofilament construction to minimise tissue visibility. It is armed with a single straight reverse cutting needle measuring 60 mm, designed to provide controlled penetration and reliable cutting performance in skin and tougher tissue layers, particularly where linear access is preferred.

MONOCRYL PLUS sutures deliver predictable tensile strength retention followed by reliable absorption, making them suitable for tissues requiring short-term wound support.
