Ethicon MONOCRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25 and coated with triclosan to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture line.

This USP 1 suture is supplied in a 90 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction for enhanced intraoperative visibility. It is armed with a single taperpoint needle measuring 36 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed to allow atraumatic passage through soft tissue while maintaining excellent control.

MONOCRYL PLUS sutures deliver predictable tensile strength retention followed by reliable absorption, making them suitable for tissues requiring short-term wound support.
