Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to deliver predictable absorption and dependable short-term wound support with minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 3-0 suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction to enhance intraoperative visibility. It is armed with two taperpoint needles, each measuring 26 mm with a 5/8 circle curvature, allowing simultaneous suturing from both ends and controlled, atraumatic passage through soft tissue in deeper or confined operative fields.

MONOCRYL sutures offer excellent handling characteristics, smooth tissue passage and secure knot performance during absorption. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
