Ethicon VICRYL Coated Polyglactin 910 Suture. Braided Absorbable Surgical Suture.

This USP 3-0 violet suture is supplied in an extended 98 inch (249 cm) length and is unarmed, with no needle attached, provided in LIGAPAK format. The long, needleless configuration is designed for vessel ligation, pedicle control and soft tissue tying, allowing surgeons flexibility in technique and needle selection if required.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each ligature is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional hospital and surgical environments.
