Ethicon VICRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated with an antibacterial agent (triclosan) to inhibit bacterial colonisation of the suture surface, helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection.

This USP 2 violet suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 22 mm reverse cutting needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed to deliver controlled penetration and reduced tissue drag when suturing tougher or fibrous tissues requiring enhanced cutting efficiency.
