Ethicon VICRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated with an antibacterial agent (triclosan) to inhibit bacterial colonisation of the suture surface, helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection.

This USP 1 violet suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 40 mm conventional cutting needle with a 1/2 circle curvature, designed to provide sharp, controlled penetration when suturing tougher tissues requiring cutting efficiency.
