Ethicon Coated VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated to enhance handling, knot security and tissue glide. Absorption occurs by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and reliable tensile strength retention during early wound healing.

This USP 5-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with double-armed 11 mm reverse spatula needles with a 3/8 circle curvature, providing excellent control and precision for ophthalmic and fine microsurgical procedures where delicate tissue handling is essential.
