Ethicon MONOCRYL Plus is an antibacterial absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25 and coated with triclosan (Plus Technology) to inhibit bacterial colonisation along the suture surface.

This USP 3-0 variant measures 70 cm in length and is supplied with a 26 mm 3/8 circle reverse cutting prime needle, engineered for precise penetration through skin and tougher tissue while minimising trauma.

MONOCRYL Plus provides high initial tensile strength, smooth tissue passage and predictable absorption. The monofilament structure reduces tissue drag and supports reliable wound approximation.

The triclosan coating helps reduce the risk of surgical site infection by inhibiting bacterial colonisation on the suture material.

Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
