Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to deliver predictable absorption and dependable short-term wound support with minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 1 suture is supplied in a 90 cm length and features a violet monofilament construction to enhance intraoperative visibility. It is armed with a single taperpoint needle measuring 26 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, allowing controlled, atraumatic passage through soft tissue while maintaining excellent placement accuracy.

MONOCRYL sutures offer smooth tissue passage, excellent handling characteristics and secure knot performance during absorption. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36 for professional surgical environments.
