Ethicon MONOCRYL is a synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture manufactured from poliglecaprone 25, designed to deliver predictable absorption and dependable short-term wound support with minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 4-0 suture is supplied in a 70 cm length and features an undyed monofilament construction to minimise tissue visibility. It is armed with a single conventional cutting PC needle measuring 22 mm with a 1/2 circle curvature, engineered to provide controlled penetration and accurate cutting performance in skin and tougher tissue layers.

MONOCRYL sutures offer smooth tissue passage, excellent handling characteristics and secure knot performance during healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
