Ethicon VICRYL Mesh is a sterile, synthetic, absorbable surgical mesh composed of polyglactin 910 (90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide), designed to provide temporary wound support and reinforcement during soft tissue and hernia repair procedures.

This 26.5 x 21.5 cm mesh implant is intended for use where temporary reinforcement of soft tissue is required across moderate to large surgical defects. The braided construction offers flexibility, ease of handling and predictable tensile strength retention during the critical early phases of healing.

VICRYL Mesh is absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and gradual loss of strength as tissue healing progresses. Each mesh is sterile, single use and supplied individually for professional hospital and surgical environments.
