Ethicon VICRYL PLUS is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910 and coated with an antibacterial agent (triclosan) to inhibit bacterial colonisation of the suture surface, supporting a reduced risk of surgical site infection.

This USP 3-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 19 mm reverse cutting Prime needle with a 3/8 circle curvature, providing clean incision, excellent control and dependable performance in skin and firmer soft tissues.

VICRYL PLUS sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in minimal tissue reaction and predictable tensile strength retention during early wound healing. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 36, making it ideal for high-volume hospital and clinical environments.
