Ethicon VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910, offering predictable absorption and dependable wound support with minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 4-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is fitted with double-armed 11 mm reverse spatula needles with a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse spatula needle design is specifically suited to ophthalmic and microsurgical applications, allowing controlled lamellar dissection and precise placement within delicate tissue planes.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, providing gradual loss of tensile strength as healing progresses. The braided structure ensures excellent handling and secure knot performance. Each suture is sterile, single use and supplied in boxes of 12 for professional surgical environments.
