Ethicon VICRYL is a synthetic absorbable braided surgical suture manufactured from polyglactin 910, designed to provide dependable wound support with predictable absorption and minimal tissue reaction.

This USP 4-0 undyed suture is supplied in a 45 cm length and is armed with a single-armed 16 mm reverse cutting Prime needle featuring a composite curve. This needle design offers enhanced access and controlled cutting performance in anatomically challenging or confined surgical fields, supporting precise placement and reliable tissue handling.

VICRYL sutures are absorbed by hydrolysis, resulting in gradual loss of tensile strength as healing progresses. The braided construction ensures excellent handling and secure knot performance.
