LUXAMID Nylon Non-Absorbable Monofilament Surgical Sutures are intended for general soft tissue approximation and ligation where long-term tensile strength is required. Manufactured from high-quality polyamide monofilament, these sutures are non-absorbable and designed to produce minimal tissue reaction.

The smooth monofilament construction provides low tissue drag, excellent handling characteristics, and reliable knot security, supporting precise placement and consistent clinical performance. The blue colouring enhances visibility against tissue, aiding accurate suture placement during procedures.

This variant is supplied in USP 0, 150 cm length, and fitted with an HR 40 (40 mm) reverse cutting needle. Reverse cutting needles feature the cutting edge on the outer curvature, reducing tissue cut-out risk while providing controlled penetration for skin and tougher tissue closure.
